What is a Digital Asset Crosswalk?

A content crosswalk is AVATAR's tool for auditing content, identifying source of that content, where it will be used in a website or other solution, what URL that content used to reside at, and then what new URL it will now reside.

This crosswalk is a valuable tool in that it gives us a system for

1. tracking down content, 
2. QAing new content, and
3. creating rewrite rules to manage organic search engine traffic.
